We are pleased to offer 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Series II s/n 3641 GT. Finished in a very nice dark green on an excellent body with a dark tan/light tobacco interior. The engine, transmission, overdrive and differential were all rebuilt by Carobu Engineering, the top Ferrari engine shop in the US, for substantial performance and reliability.

The tipo 128 F Ferrari V–12 dyno tested at 272 HP @ 7,100 RPM and produced 200–210 ft lbs of torque from 4500 RPM to 7000 RPM, an extremely wide torque curve, as tested on the Carobu engineering DTS dyno. The engine features Carrillo rods, lightweight JE pistons, ported and matched heads/manifolds, stainless steel valves with 7mm valve stems for better airflow and the intake valve face was enlarged by 1mm for even better airflow. The Weber carburetors also feature a 2mm larger Venturi for additional performance. The compression ratio is 10:5–1 yet the engine purrs at idle like a 300 pound pussycat but is also amazingly strong as it goes up the RPM range to redline. A Kevlar clutch was installed and the transmission, overdrive and differential were also rebuilt. Comes with all invoices ($30,000) and paperwork, very rare build sheets (yes, all numbers match) and full photo documentation of the work done.

Priced very right at $85,000.
