Introduced in 2004, the 612 Scaglietti became the first V-12 Ferrari to use a state-of-the-art alloy space frame chassis and body. The four-cam, 5.7-liter engine kicked out 540 bhp at 7,400 rpm and gave a where-will-you-ever-go-this-fast 198.8 mph. With the engine fitted behind the front axle line and the rear mounted transaxle, 54 percent of the weight is over the back wheels making the 612 fast, user-friendly and wonderfully balanced. Thanks to state-of-the-art luxury features such as dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable seats and head rests, a reverse-sensing warning system and adjustable automatic headlights, the 612 was, and still is, both sumptuous and fast. Named for the legendary coachbuilder Scaglietti, the 612s have incredible presence, enhanced by the evocative scalloped side panels that recall the famous Bergman/Rossellini 375MM.

612 Scaglietti s/n 155732 shows very well and is in near-new condition. Thanks to its Clear Bra, there are none of usual pinpoint chips as one would expect given a ten-year-old Ferrari. The interior is extremely nice in a very elegant color combination. The leather is outstanding throughout, with some very light wear in the usual spots on the driver’s seat bolster. The leather, which covers just about every surface (headliner, pillars, visors, dashboard, center console, door panels), is all in as-new condition. The Daytona seats are beautifully done and very striking and the carpets are excellent. The Pininfarina-designed 612 is a true-four seater with user-friendly rear seats large enough to be adult-comfortable, making the 612 the fastest four-seater on the planet, enhancing the usability of the 612s. The engine compartment is completely clean and dry, and the trunk is excellent, revealing the manual pack in its leather case, the tool kit and the battery tender. Very nice underneath with a zero-damage belly pan. Has been meticulously serviced at Wide World Ferrari Maserati, Ferrari of Long Island and Ferrari of Washington with records and a clean Carfax on file.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1 s/n 155732 is a fully-serviced, well-optioned and very clean example of the 612s in a desirable and elegant color combination. The form-fitting fully-adjustable power seats with Daytona inserts, in Sabbia with Nero leather, offset with Giallo (yellow) gauges, red Calipers and 19″ Modular wheels offers a luxurious and desirable package. 612 Scaglietti F1 s/n 155732 has been fully serviced and is in excellent condition throughout. We welcome a pre-purchase inspection. Thanks in part to the introduction of the even-faster, even-more-sophisticated FF 2+2 and the miracle of depreciation, this well-optioned 612, which came with a $260k window sticker when new, offers a pride of ownership, user-friendly, best-buy-in-a-V12-on-the-market V-12 Ferrari at only $99,950 or best offer.
