description

We are pleased to offer 1974 365 GT4/BB s/n 18135, a two owner project 365 GT4/BB. 18135 was owned by the second owner for the last thirty years and needs a new and caring owner who will finish a long overdue project. All major parts are with the car, good body fit, no apparent chassis damage, and well deserving a restoration.

RHD, 365 GT4/BB. Original color was Dino Blue Metallic with Beige VM3234 leather. Now LHD with a good body, good chassis, good engine and suspension, most of the bits and pieces but otherwise a project car.

S/n 18135. RHD. 365 GT4/BB. Sold new in England. Original color was Dino Blue Metallic with Beige VM3234 leather.

1974, 05 Nov., first registered to Peter Vangerbig, 46 Campden Hill Square, London, W8 7JR. RHD. Registered on plates GAM 94M.

1974, late, crashed.

1975, 09 Oct., sold by B. Cobb, Cobb Motors, as a project car, to Robert L. Thurman, an American living in England. Rob Thurman then bought an alloy P/3 body from David Piper and was going to fit the P/3 body to the boxer, butโ€ฆ like so many projects, started but never completed.

1982, unfinished (never started?) project 365 GT4/BB s/n 18135 shipped from England to Rob Thurmanโ€™s American home in Texas with newโ€“oldโ€“stock P/3 body.

1986, โ€œishโ€, Bob Norwood traded Rob Thurman all major 365 GT4/BB body parts needed to complete 365 GT4/BB s/n 18135 including the parts to convert it to LHD. Bob Norwood also rebuilt the 365 GT4/BB engine in exchange for cash and the P/3 alloy body. Body assembled, good body, good chassis, good suspension, engine rebuilt, but not run. Needs paint, dashboard repairs, assembly, sorting!

1986โ€“2005, no work done.

2005, April, sold to M. Sheehan. A restoration project.
