We are pleased to offer 1963 330 GTO Recreation s/n 8559 GT. This very attractive one-owner 330 GTO recreation was one of two cars built-to-order in 1988-1992 by Mark Gerisch of M & L Auto Specialists, Inc. in Wisconsin, the builder of many 250/330 GTO, SWB and TR replicars. The owner who commissioned this car is a very knowledgeable enthusiast who had his own race shop finish the engine, transmission, differential and suspension to the highest standards. 1963 330 GTO Recreation s/n 8559 GT has had one owner and in the same private collection for over twenty years and is fully maintained, well sorted and ready to go. It comes complete with 3″ of work orders documenting the entire construction process, with invoices for all parts supplied and work done.

The engine was rebuilt by Byron Sanborn of Vintage Racing Motors, Seattle. The 330 GT chassis was modified to proper wheelbase, suspension pickup points, spring boxes, etc.. The suspension and brakes were modified to GTO specifications. The gearbox was supplied by BMW Motorsports, is fully synchronized with the correct shift pattern and is both bullet-proof and an easy shifting 5-speed. The rear axle has an original alloy-ribbed case modified for watts link and fitted with a ZF differential. Riveted fuel tank as in the original. Fitted with the correct Borrani wire wheels and Dunlop racing tires. Full alloy body hand-beaten as per original, with fully finished and sealed door jambs. Plexi side and rear windows. Correct type fuse board, fuse blocks, blinker can, regulator, wiper motor, switches and instruments. Correct right down to the shift tower!

330 GTO Recreation s/n 8559 GT is true to the form of an original GTO, is blindingly fast and acceptable for multiple track and rally events. This is a fully street licensable and user-friendly 330 GTO for the road, and a terrific track day car, rally car and racecar.
