We are pleased to offer 1972 Alfa GTA Jr. s/n AR776083. One of the last 10 GTA Jr. race cars built. Fitted from the factory with GTA Trans–Am type fiberglass fender flairs; 10 X 13 Alfa Stradale rear wheels and 8 X 13 Stradale front wheels and a 1300 c.c. Narrow Angle Head with slide valve injection engine, # A–102116. Now fitted for American racing with a 2–litre 200 hp twin cam engine by Jack Beck, Orion Motorsports, with 7 X 14 GTA wheels per SVRA rules and a 5 speed Colotti racing gearbox.

Both the 1300 c.c. Narrow Angle Head with slide valve injection engine and the 2– litre 200 hp twin cam engine are “fresh” with dyno time only. The 1300 cc Narrow Angle engine was rebuilt by John Anderson of Norman Racing and dyno’d at 140 hp. The 2000 c.c. twin cam engine was rebuilt by Jack Beck, Orion Motorsports, and dyno’d at 200 hp. The Colotti 5 speed race box is rebuilt with multiple spare gears and the original gearbox is also with the car. All body, interior and paint “cosmetics” have been redone with no race time. The car will be delivered with both engines and all spares. This car is a complete “race–ready package”, fully sorted, with spares, ready for the track.

1972, 06 Sept., sold new to Guglielmo Risk, Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Extensive race history in the Dominican Republic.

1988, with K.C. International, San Antonio, Texas.

1988, 09 Sept., sold by K.C. International to current owner.

1988–1989, cosmetics restored by Race and Restoration Dayton, Ohio. Fitted with 7 X 14 GTA wheels for vintage racing per SVRA rules. Fitted with a 5–speed Colotti racing gearbox.

1989–90, 2000 c.c. engine built and car completely race–prepped by Jack Beck of Orion Motorsports, 517 North Jackson Street, Papillion, Nebraska, 68046, phone 402–331–5913.

1990–1998, raced extensively by current owner in SVRA Group 8, various HRS and VSCDA race groups, including successfully in many historic enduros, all with the 2L motor.

1998–2002, cosmetics flawlessly restored by Quality Automotive of Cincinnati, OH. Suspension and all non–engine components completely refurbished by George Petrohilos of Autotech, Springfield, OH.

1994, 1300 cc Narrow Angle Head and slide valve injection engine completely rebuilt by John Anderson of Norman Racing. Dyno’d at 140 hp. Preserved and never used due to historical significance.

2002, 2000 c.c. engine updated and rebuilt by Jack Beck, Orion Motorsports, 517 North Jackson Street, Papillion, Nebraska. 200 hp. Dyno time only.

Not used or raced since completion of restoration. Both engines have dyno time only. The car is currently ready for vintage racing &/or Concours presentation.
