We are pleased to offer 1972 Ferrari 246 GTS s/n 04302, a four-time Platinum
scoring USA model 246 GTS with only 22,910 total miles. New in Fly yellow with black leather, A/C,
P/W and Campagnolo wheels, and still in Fly yellow with black today. Restored in the late 1980s
and again in the late 1990s. Shown at Cavallino, scoring Platinum in 1998, 2000, 2001 and again in
2002, followed by a Gold finish in 2003. Show quality “patina” leather,
excellent paint and body fit, with all rubber, trim and controls detailed to show standards.
Complete with the leather pouch, owner’s manual and parts book, complete tool set, tool
roll, jack, jack bag, lug wrench and tire chalk. Even has the original key fob!
Mechanically maintained and detailed by Tom Straubinger, this Ferrari is in
excellent mechanical condition and needs nothing. A “time capsule” Ferrari with
excellent syncros, a strong engine, and everything working as it should. 246 GTS s/n 04302 is
equipped with air, power windows, power antenna and has the original top cover used to cover
the targa top when stowed behind the seats. A cosmetically and mechanically superb Ferrari
that would only need minor detailing to be back on the show circuit. For the enthusiast who
wants to have the best, yet priced below the cost of duplication at $179,500.
