We are pleased to offer 1973 Dino 246 GT coupe s/n 04946, a rare USA model
“chairs and flares” Dino coupe. This Dino is finished in a very elegant black paint
that accents the sleek body lines of the Dino hardtop, over a straight body. The black
leather Daytona seats and door panels are nicely accented by grey inserts, with grey carpets.
Ferrari 246 GT s/n 04946 is a California “blue plate” car and comes complete
with ownership docs from new, complete back to the original Bill of Sale. Fitted from new with
“chairs and flares”, factory A/C and power windows. Complete with its original period
Becker Mexico AM/FM cassette and electrical antenna, and now fitted with upgraded door speakers.
Only one year ago, 246 GT s/n 04946 was treated to 22k worth of work at Penske-Wynn Ferrari
and comes with ten pages of invoices that detail the work done. Comes complete with the original
pouch, owner’s manual, dealer list book and even the original warranty book.
Runs and drives as nicely as it looks, no expenses spared, and priced right at
$139,500.

1973, 06 June, sold new by Hollywood Sports Cars to Mr. Tom Brockmiller,
Rolling Hills, CA.
1984, 21 July, new title issued to Joel Haffner, El Cajon, CA, 92020.

1984-2004, with Haffner, Carlsbad, CA. Has “chairs and
flares” and Campagnolo wheels.
2004, April, offered by Classic Showcase, San Marcos, CA. Original
California blue plate Dino with original Bill of Sale. This vehicle was purchased from
Hollywood Sports Car. Fitted with A/C, power windows, original Becker Mexico AM/FM cassette,
speakers in door, electrical antenna and a very nice interior.
2004, Classic Showcase repainted this Dino and did a major service.
2005, August, at the RM Monterey Auction. Black 1973 Dino 246 GT, s/n
04946; California title, vendor from Laguna Niguel; original CA delivery car. Daytona seats and
Camp. wheels. Recently restored by Classic Showcase, complete repaint and a “major
tune-up” was performed. Also has books and records.
2005, 28 Oct., major service and suspension work done by Penske-Wynn
Ferrari-Maserati, 3131 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109. The work included replace
the shift cable and shift rod boot; rebuild steering rack; replace all front and rear suspension
bushings, four new shocks and replace tie rod ends. Replace entire front-to-rear
radiator hoses and rebuild cooling fan motors. Rebuild and service A/C including rebuilt A/C
blower motor, fit new A/C dryer, condenser and R12 Freon gas. Fit new Pirelli spare tire.
Rebuild/replace front wheel bearings and seals. Fit all new brake soft rubber lines and reservoir
hoses. Reseal gearbox. Repair under-lid lights. Replace fuel filler hose. Replace shoulder
seat belts. Four wheel alignment. Total of 10 page service invoice: $22,205.04. Mileage: 68,713.
