We are pleased to offer 1984 USA model 308 GTS QV s/n 50655, a fully serviced, well documented, Platinum award winning Ferrari. 308 GTS s/n 50655 scored a highly coveted Platinum award at the Cavallino classic in January of this year, so only three months ago, testifying to its excellent condition. Comes with a well documented ownership history including voluminous ownership and service paperwork starting with the warranty card showing the first owner, all service documents from new, full books including the owner’s carrying pouch and all books, the tool roll and all tools and the jack kit. All major mechanical components have been serviced regularly through its life and so the engine, transmission, brakes and suspension are in excellent condition. This is a wonderfully driving 308 GTS QV, the syncros work smoothly, the clutch is light to use, grips quickly and the car can be thrown into corners with total ease and confidence. Performance through the RPM range is excellent thanks to the smooth power curve of the last evolution of the 308 GTS engine.

The body is exceptionally straight and dent free. The Dark Red Metallic paint (Prunia FER 306/c) is nearly flawless. There is no evidence of accident or rust repairs to the body, underside or chassis. The body, paint and interior are all original and in superb condition. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The black rubber bumpers are excellent with no discoloration. It is fitted from new with the Factory optional 16 inch wheels with near new 205/55 VR 16 front and 225/50 VR 16 rear Goodyear NCT tires. Even has the correct 16″ spare wheel and tire. Only three long term owners since new.

The interior is finished in exceptionally nice tan leather, the door panels, carpets and dash are also all in excellent condition and look near new. The car makes excellent power, has excellent oil pressure and runs cool in traffic. The suspension is firm yet compliant, and the brakes were just rebuilt and so stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is very good, both when warm and cold. All the switches and gauges are fully operational, including the radio. Comes with a “no stories” Carfax, the invoice for the recent 30k cam-belt and brake service and all service records since new.

308 GTS QV s/n 50655 was fully serviced in November, 2014 (only five months ago) by Rod Drew’s Francorchamps of America. The work included a 30k cam-belt service, all fluids and filters changed, new plug wires, new plug extenders, a radiator re-core, rebuilt water pump, the front brake calipers were rebuilt, new front and rear brake pads and new brake soft lines were fitted, the airbox plenum was powder coated and more for a total invoice of $10,583.66. Mileage at the time: 30,603 miles. Complete and comes with a voluminous service and ownership file, the warranty card with the original owner’s name, the owner’s carrying pouch and all books, the tool roll and all tools and the jack kit. From new with the optional Factory 16 inch wheels, even has the correct 16″ spare! 308 GTS QV s/n 50655 is in amazingly nice condition for a 30 year old Ferrari and has obviously been a “Pride of Ownership” Ferrari having scored a recent Platinum award. The best and the last of the user-friendly 308 GTS series, just serviced and with only 30,649 miles
