We are pleased to offer 1986 Euro model Ferrari 328 GTS s/n 63037. From new in Prugna FER 306 Glasurit, a deep Burgundy metallic over Crema A 3997 and black carpets. This 328 GTS was treated to a 30k cam-belt service only a year ago. S/n 63037 is a Euro model built in March 1986 and was imported into the US on 24 June, 1986 and passed both EPA and DOT standards on 15 July, 1986. 328 GTS s/n 63037 has had a full 30k mile cam-belt service done by Aventura Motors Inc., 625 County Road 39A, Southampton, NY in July of last year. The service included a safety inspection, all fluids changed, new accessory belts and hoses, new cam belts, new plugs, new fuel hoses, a water pump rebuild and all new brake pads and all four rotors plus new front and rear hood shocks at 39,057 miles. Clean Carfax, of course. We have the Carfax plus the parts invoices and service docs for last years major service on files. Feel free to e-mail us for scanned copies.

The Prugna paint is in good condition, with some minor rock chipping common in a 39,241 mile car. All panels have excellent gaps and fit. There is no evidence of accident repairs to the body, underside or chassis. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The gray leather on the seats and door panels is in good condition, the dash covering and headliner are also in good condition, as are the black carpets, especially considering that 1986 328 GTS s/n 63037 is now 36 years old! The carpets have been protected by throw rugs and are also in excellent condition. The car had excellent drivability. All systems were well sorted before the current service and are even better thanks to the recent service! It goes straight with no shimmy “hands-off” and brakes in a straight line. The under panels, belly pan and suspension are in good condition. 328 GTS s/n 63037 is fitted with alloy 7 x 16 front and 8 x 16 rear wheels mounted on a near-new set of 205/55/16R front and 225/50/16R rear Hankook Ventus RS4 tires.

The 328 succeeded the highly popular 308 for the 1986 model year and offered an increased displacement V-8 plus a myriad of detail improvements throughout. The mid-engine 328 featured an upgraded 3.2-liter V-8 putting out 260 horsepower, thanks to a sophisticated Marelli MED 806 A electronic ignition system and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Top speed was good for 166 mph. The styling was freshened with new seat patterns, new door handles and tidier and more modern treatment to the nicely integrated front and rear bumpers, both of which were painted in body color. The controls were significantly reworked as well, with new switch gear and revised dashboard and door trims. Production of the 328 ended in the fall of 1989, marking the end of the transverse mid-engine Ferraris, a line that began in 1968 with the 206 Dino GT.

As one of the last Ferraris engineered and launched during Enzo Ferrari’s lifetime and as the last of the pre-computer Ferraris, the 328s are sought after for their blend of usability and comparable reliability, as well as the comparative ease of servicing, owing to in-car engine service work and cam-belt replacements. Thanks to the 328’s low sweeping body lines and the sounds of the well-proven, high-revving V-8 right behind your seat, every trip to dinner, Sunday brunch or your local coffee shop is a great driving experience. Ferrari 328 GTS s/n 63037 now has 39,241 miles. A great looking, great sounding, well sorted, user-friendly and ready to go 1986 Euro model 328 GTS that will not disappoint. Fly in for an impressive test drive. Priced to sell at $79,950 or best offer.
