We are pleased to offer 1990 Ferrari Testarossa s/n 83324, a recently serviced US model Testarossa, from new in Nero FER 1240 black paint with Nero black leather and tastefully upgraded in a contrasting yellow over black by several owners over the years. At some point Testarossa s/n 83324 has been repainted and shows well in its original color of Nero FER 1240 black which is nicely offset by all-new black leather on the door panels, the dash and the seats, with arrow-straight contrasting yellow stitching and small yellow Prancing Horses embroidered into the headrests, finished off with excellent black carpets, protected by yellow Prancing Horse throw carpets. The MOMO steering wheel is also nicely color-coordinated with yellow trim, as is the shift knob. Testarossa s/n 83324 is mounted on a set of color-coordinated black painted 18″ 512 TR wheels, fitted with a set of Vredestein Giugiario low profile Sessanta 225/40 ZR 18′ front and 295/35 ZR 18″ rear tires, which are offset with yellow powder-coated brake calipers with a black Ferrari script and the yellow/black Prancing Horse centers. Testarossa s/n 83324 also comes with its original silver painted set of 16″ wheels, in good condition, with no curbing damage, mounted with Dunlop Sport 8000 225/50/ZR16 front and 255/50/ZR16 rear tires.

In April-May 2021 Testarossa s/n 83324 was treated to an engine-out cam-belt service, a rebuilt water pump, red powder-coated cam covers and intake plenums, a new clutch and pressure plate and a transaxle overhauled with a new first gear at a cost of app $20,000.00 by Ecelite Automotive, Rialto, CA at 45,875 miles. The door panels, dash and seats were also removed during the engine-out cam-belt and transaxle service by Ecelite Automotive, Rialto, CA and sublet to Fontana Auto Upholstery, Fontana, CA. The door panels, the dash and seats were then recovered with all new black leather with very nicely done and arrow straight contrasting yellow stitching and very nicely embroidered yellow prancing horses on the headrests. The A/C was upgraded to an R134 A/C conversion and a Tubi exhausts with no pre-cats was installed. While the exhaust may sound wonderfully wicked, TR s/n 83324 is not smog legal in some states and is not for sale in California. The usual minor service work was done by GTO Engineering, 1450 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. In May of 2021, GTO Engineering performed a Lambda fuse repair, set the 02 sensors, flushed the coolant and adjust the shifter linkage. The total invoice was $2,385.36. In June of 2021 GTO Engineering repaired the front hood cable, the park light switch, checked the fuse box and installed a circuit breaker fuse. The total invoice was $1,003.50 at 46,028 miles. In April, 2022 GTO Engineering adjusted the hand brake, installed new hand brake shoes, replaced one headlamp, repaired an A/C fan control, recharged the A/C system and replaced the coolant expansion tank. The total invoice was $3,366.95 at 48,101 miles. Most recently, in July of 2022, GTO Engineering replaced the A/C pressure switch, repaired a fuel injection leak and tested the A/C system function. The total invoice was $2,716.10 at 48,150 miles.

The Testarossa was introduced at the 1984 Paris Auto Show as a formidable yet user–friendly competitor to Lamborghini’s Countach, thanks in part to its all-new 4-valve heads, putting out 380 bhp at 6300 rpm. Powered by the four valve version of Ferrari’s horizontally opposed flat-twelve cylinder “Boxer” engine, the Testarossa was quick, comfortable and made all the right sounds. Its dramatic side strakes helped to channel air into the dual rear-mounted radiators, which kept both the engine and cabin from overheating. Stylistically, the Testarossa stunned the world with its avant-garde styling. Long, low and wide, the Testarossa appeared even more so thanks to the extensive use of horizontal slatting, a feature that would later be replicated on other Ferraris and on many other lesser cars. Thanks to its user friendly cabin and creature comforts, the Testarossa was very plush with leather seats, rear shelf, headliner and visors. Beneath these striking features was a surprisingly handsome form that remains as stunning today as it was when introduced thirty-six years ago. The front compartment is reasonably sized and the car is very comfortable, has light steering, is easy to drive and has great visibility, making it an ideal way to cover long distances at high speeds in comfort. Top speed was good for 180 mph while 0-60 took just 5.2 seconds. Today, the Testarossa is undoubtedly the bargain of the classical flat-12 Ferrari world, offering stunning good looks, unique styling, acres of torque and effortless performance at a great price!

Testarossa s/n 83324 was new to Steve Harris Imports, the authorized Ferrari dealer for Salt Lake City, UT and stayed with the original owner with only its original delivery miles until the end of 1992 when Testarossa s/n 83324 was sold to her second owner in San Diego, CA with only 149 miles. From 1992 to today Testarossa s/n 83324 has been a southern California car and today Testarossa s/n 83324 has 49,675 miles, so an average of 2,160 well cared-for miles per year and so is in exceptional condition, in keeping with its well-maintained ownership. The paintwork shows very nicely with no noticeable blemishes. All of the car’s glass and trim are scratch and wear free. Panel fit is excellent as one would expect, and the body is straight and true. All switches and related trim parts are in excellent condition with no sticky residue. The underbody, floor pan and suspension are damage-free, scratch free and so in excellent condition. Comes with the rare and original Thinline spare wheel and tire and the round plastic fuse box and the plug-in trouble light. Cosmetically Testarossa s/n 83324 has the usual paint chips one would expect on the lower front spoiler and is missing her front hood inner pad, rear hood inner pad and there is a major rip in the front trunk upper carpet, all of which can easily and economically be replaced by a local upholstery shop. Because of its contrasting colors, recent major service and all-new leather Testarossa s/n 83324 is a stunning example, runs great, sounds great, shows and drives as-new and needs nothing to be a great driver! Testarossa s/n 83324 is pride-of-ownership Ferrari with 49,675 miles. Clean carfax, of course, e-mail us for a copy. Priced to sell at $99,500 or best offer.
