We are pleased to offer 1992 USA model F40 s/n 92336, a very late delivery (Dec. 1992 build, Jan. 1993 completion, Mar. 1993 delivery), extremely well documented and very low mileage 1992 USA model F40 with only 1,136 miles since new. This F40 has never been tracked and comes with all books, warranty card, tools and car cover. Red with red.
The previous owner had the 15,000 mile or 5 year “belt service” and a massive amount of detail and beautification work done in early 2002 by a Factory Authorized dealer. Invoice total amount was $51,405. We sold this low–mileage F40 in December 2004 to a perfectionist owner who then had a full major 30,000 mile “belt service” done with new cam belts at a cost of $10,165. This F40 has been driven only 68 miles since last serviced and needs nothing. One of only 213 USA model F40s and one of the last built. If you want a unique opportunity to own the very best in a USA F40, this is it!

The preceeding ad text is in error. The exact same ad text appears for F40 s/n 90987 in each of these FML issues. The only meaningful information to be gained from this entry is that 90987 and 92336 were both for sale by Newport Autosport during this timeframe.
2001, 05 June, sold by Newport Autosport to Chun Lee, a Taiwanese businessman who kept F40 s/n 92336 at his California USA home. Mileage at time of sale: 839 miles.
2001, 26 Sept., new California title issued to Chun Lee.
2002, 26 Feb., major service done at Ferrari of Los Gatos. Four new tires fitted. Engine out major service. Cam belts and all 15,000 mile or five year service work done. All oil hoses replaced. New bellhousing fitted because of porous casting. All anodized or powder coated suspension fittings, brake parts, sway bar brackets replated or replaced. Mileage noted on opening invoice was 950 miles “in”, 978 miles “out” when closed on 2002, 05 June. Invoice total amount $51,405.98. Copy of all paperwork on file.

2004, 14 Dec., sold by Mike Sheehan’s www.Ferraris-online.com with mileage at 1,068 miles. The new owner then had a full major 30,000 mile “belt service” done by Rod Drew’s F.A.I., Costa Mesa, CA. Fitted with new cam belts, water pump rebuilt and new posi–traction plates at a cost of $10,165.09.
