The Ferrari 250 GTE engine is a 3.0-liter Colombo V12 developed for the marque’s 250 GTE 2+2 grand tourer. Known as the Tipo 128E, it combined all-alloy construction with triple Weber carburetors and produced approximately 240 horsepower in period. Closely related to the engines that powered Ferrari’s celebrated 250-series cars, original 250 GTE engines are significant components for restorations, period-correct builds, and historic Ferrari projects.
