Introduced in 1975, the Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina was the earliest and lightest version of the 308 GTB, distinguished by its fiberglass bodywork. Designed by Pininfarina and powered by a transverse 3.0-liter V8, it combined low weight with the elegant proportions that defined Ferrari’s new generation of mid-engine sports cars. Produced for only a brief period before steel bodywork replaced fiberglass, Vetroresina examples are among the rarest and most desirable 308 variants.
