Introduced for the 2015 racing season, the McLaren 650S GT3 transformed the road-going 650S into a purpose-built international GT racer. Built around McLaren’s lightweight carbon-fiber MonoCell chassis, it featured revised aerodynamics, wider suspension geometry, a six-speed sequential transmission, and a race-prepared 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 producing approximately 500 PS under GT3 regulations. Developed for customer racing worldwide, the 650S GT3 became an important chapter in McLaren’s modern GT competition history.
