Developed for competition in the early 1990s, the Ferrari F40 GT transformed the legendary F40 into a purpose-built GT racing machine. Prepared by Michelotto, it featured extensive weight reduction, upgraded suspension and brakes, competition aerodynamics, and a more powerful version of Ferrari’s twin-turbo V8 producing approximately 590 horsepower. Built in extremely limited numbers, the F40 GT achieved significant success in Italian GT racing and represents one of the rarest competition evolutions of Ferrari’s iconic supercar.
