Introduced for 1967, the Ford Mustang 390 GT brought big-block V8 performance to the Mustang lineup. Its 390-cubic-inch V8 produced approximately 320 horsepower, complemented by available performance-focused suspension, braking, and drivetrain equipment. Combining the Mustang’s distinctive fastback styling with significantly increased power, the 390 GT became one of the most desirable configurations of the first-generation Mustang and an important part of America’s classic muscle car era.
