We are pleased to offer 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS s/n 07935. Finished in excellent silver paint with superb tan leather. Fitted carpet inlays cover the excellent tan carpets. Seats, door panels, dash and console upholstery shows virtually no signs of wear and the canvas soft top is excellent. We believe a substantial restoration was done about 1989 and that the odometer was reset at that time. This Ferrari currently shows 22,600 kms. Going back 7,535 kms ago the transaxle and half shafts, brake lines, plug wires and distributors were all overhauled. 4,000 kms back the starter and clutch master cylinder, carburetors, radiator, and fuel system were all rebuilt. The engine was also removed, the engine bay was repainted in the correct semi-gloss black, the exhaust headers were recoated and mounted with new heat shielding and new hangers, and a NOS exhaust system was fitted. The valve covers were repainted with correct wrinkle finish, the throttle shafts were freshly nickel plated, all the hoses were replaced and correct clamps fitted were fitted. New coils and points were fitted and the distributors were rebuilt. New fan motors and a period correct battery were also installed, along with a fresh hood pad, capping off an effort to make this car approach a 100 point example under the hood.
On the exterior new XWX tires have been fitted, new and correct back up lights were
sourced and installed, the Borrani wire wheels have been painstakingly polished to better-than-new standards and the aluminum, stainless, and chrome trim throughout the car have been hand polished and are near perfect.
With the car comes records back to 1999, polished Borrani spare wheel, jack and jack bag, 275 GTS road tests from Road and Track’s September of 1966, and Ferrari World November of 1993 issues, reprinted owners and shop manual and what appears to be an original parts book.
This 275 GTS is as close to a near new 275 GTS as is available in today
