Introduced in 1948, the Ferrari 166 Inter was the marque’s first true road-going grand tourer. Powered by a 2.0-liter Colombo V12, it combined Ferrari’s competition-derived engineering with greater comfort and refinement for road use. Produced in extremely limited numbers with coachwork from leading Italian designers, the 166 Inter established an important foundation for Ferrari’s celebrated tradition of V12 grand touring cars.
