Built in 1950 for the Mille Miglia, the Ferrari 275/340 Barchetta began as a 3.3-liter 275 S and was later upgraded by Ferrari to 4.1-liter 340 specification. Powered by an early Lampredi V12, chassis 0030 MT competed extensively with the Marzotto brothers, including multiple Mille Miglia appearances. Its factory evolution, distinctive Barchetta bodywork, and extensive period racing history make it a significant example of Ferrari’s early competition development.
