Introduced in 2003, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was a road-legal, track-focused evolution of the 360 Modena inspired by Ferrari’s competition cars. Its 3.6-liter V8 produced 425 horsepower, while extensive weight reduction, carbon-ceramic brakes, revised suspension, improved aerodynamics, and faster F1-style gearshifts sharpened its performance. As Ferrari’s first modern special-series V8, the Challenge Stradale established the formula later followed by the 430 Scuderia and 458 Speciale.
