The Ferrari 360 Modena F1 combines the 360’s 3.6-liter, 400-horsepower V8 with Ferrari’s electrohydraulic F1 transmission, allowing rapid gear changes through steering-wheel-mounted paddles. Derived from technology developed through Ferrari’s Formula 1 experience, the six-speed system offered a more performance-focused alternative to the traditional gated manual gearbox. Together with the 360’s aluminum construction and Pininfarina styling, the F1 transmission helped introduce a new generation of Ferrari road-car technology.
