Developed for international endurance racing, the Ferrari 512 BB/LM “Silhouette” was the ultimate competition evolution of the Berlinetta Boxer. Its radically aerodynamic Pininfarina-developed bodywork concealed a lightweight racing chassis and a fuel-injected 5.0-liter flat-12 producing approximately 480 horsepower. Built in extremely limited numbers, the 512 BB/LM competed extensively at Le Mans and other major endurance events, becoming one of Ferrari’s most distinctive competition cars of the era.
