Introduced in 1981, the Ferrari 512 BBi was the final evolution of the celebrated Berlinetta Boxer series. Its 5.0-liter flat-12 adopted Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, improving drivability and refinement while producing 340 horsepower. Retaining its dramatic Pininfarina styling and mid-engine layout, the BBi combined exotic performance with greater usability. With only 1,007 examples produced, it marked the culmination of the Berlinetta Boxer lineage before the arrival of the Testarossa.
