Introduced for the 1967 model year, the Porsche 911 S was the first high-performance evolution of the original 911. Its air-cooled flat-six initially produced 160 PS, with later versions gaining increased displacement and power. The 911 S also introduced the iconic forged Fuchs alloy wheels and combined improved performance with upgraded equipment. Its sporting character and continuous development established the S as one of the most significant early variants in the Porsche 911 lineage.
