The De Tomaso Pantera GT5-S represented one of the most dramatic and refined evolutions of the long-running Pantera. Its wide-body styling featured smoothly integrated flared fenders, aggressive aerodynamic details, and substantially wider wheels and tires, while retaining the mid-mounted Ford V8 and five-speed ZF transmission. Produced in very limited numbers, the GT5-S combined Italian exotic-car styling with American V8 performance and stands among the most distinctive and collectible versions of the Pantera.
