Introduced in 1970, the Lamborghini Urraco brought a new compact V8 formula to the Italian marque. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the mid-engine 2+2 coupe combined distinctive wedge-shaped styling with a lightweight chassis and a high-revving V8. Offered in several engine configurations, the Urraco established an important new direction for Lamborghini and laid the foundation for later V8 models including the Silhouette and Jalpa.
