Introduced in 1929, the BMW 3/15 DA2 was one of the earliest automobiles produced under the BMW name. Developed from the Dixi DA1 and its Austin Seven origins, the DA2 featured improved engineering, including four-wheel braking, while retaining a compact four-cylinder powertrain and lightweight construction. As an important step in BMW’s transition into automobile manufacturing, the DA2 represents a significant chapter in the company’s early automotive history.
