Introduced in 1975, the Ferrari 308 GTB established a new generation of mid-engine V8 sports cars for the marque. Its Pininfarina-designed bodywork combined flowing proportions with a transverse 3.0-liter V8, while the earliest examples featured lightweight fiberglass construction before production shifted to steel. With its distinctive styling, engaging performance, and historical importance, the 308 GTB became one of Ferrari’s defining sports cars of the 1970s and 1980s.
