Introduced in 1983, the Lancia LC2 was a purpose-built Group C sports prototype developed for the World Endurance Championship. Designed with involvement from Dallara and Abarth, it combined lightweight construction and advanced aerodynamics with a powerful Ferrari-derived twin-turbo V8. Exceptionally fast and capable of challenging the dominant Porsche 956, the LC2 achieved numerous pole positions and several major victories, becoming one of Lancia’s most significant endurance racing cars.
