We are pleased to offer 1973 Dino (Ferrari) 246 GTS s/n 04786, a Platinum level USA model 246 GTS showing 75,379 miles. Ownership history known back to the day it was built on 22 Jan., 1973. Sold new by Hollywood Sports Cars and a California car almost all its life. Show quality accessories with the original leather owner’s pouch, owner’s manual and parts book, dealer’s directory and consumer information card, targa top stowage bag, ultra-rare dated warranty card, the complete tool set and tool roll, jack and jack kit. Show-quality older Ferrari Rosso Corsa with like-new covered headlights over an accident-free and rust-free body. Excellent black leather Daytona seats with black inserts and black carpets. New “mouse-fur” on the dash in 2008. Engine-out top-end rebuild, valves and head gaskets in 2008 by Steve Harris Imports. Just completed a 57 item $19,098.38 service and pre-sale inspection plus an obsessive 115-hour detail. Invoices on file. Excellent compression, no service or deferred maintenance issues. 2008, 11 Feb., engine out valve job, new head gaskets and major engine-out service by Steve Harris Imports, Authorized Ferrari dealer for Salt Lake City, UT. 4-6 cylinder head gasket leaking oil. R&R engine assembly, R&R left cylinder head, R&R right cylinder head, R&R front crank seal. R&R rear main Seal. R&R oil lines. Clean & Prep engine compartment. Remove engine & transmission assembly from car & washed engine. Disassembled top end of engine. Stripped cylinder heads & sent out for rebuilding. Replaced front crank seal & rear main seal. Replaced distributor drive seal. Reassembled cylinder heads & installed on engine, adjusted valves & set cam timing. Re-assembled engine & installed in car. Replaced oil feed lines, installed all accessories & filled engine & trans with fluids & bleed system as needed. Started car & adjusted timing & air fuel mixtures. Found accelerator diaphragm at center carb leaking, replace diaphragm, adjust timing and fuel mixture and test drive.
