We have a passion for affordable Ferrari GT race cars, and so we are pleased to offer 1993 Ferrari 348 tb Serie Speciale Challenge s/n 94370. The 33rd of 100 348 tb Serie Speciale Challenge cars built and now with only 10,400 miles. This Ferrari was raced twice in the Challenge series and a few times in VARA, thus it’s in good condition for a raced car with no apparent crashes. It’s been lightly refurbished and had a complete “engine–out” service in October ′07. It’s set up as a race car now, but the car could be returned to the street in some states, and comes with a California title. The upgrades include Challenge wheels, exhaust, a padded roll cage with removable sidebars, front and rear tow hooks, a fire system, and high dollar carbon fiber seats and door panels. Fitted with Sparco 6–point belts. The front lid and front fenders are carbon fiber. The door hinges detach. The console is custom carbon fiber. The brakes are large Brembo units and have front and rear cooling ducts. The brake bias is adjustable from the cockpit. Fitted with heavy Eibach springs and re–valved shocks. Has a transmission and auxiliary oil coolers. 57″ carbon rear spoiler. This car is an extremely fast and lightweight 348, as unnecessary creature comforts have been removed. Not a boulevard cruiser, but a true enthusiast’s car. The passenger seat makes it a great VARA or Ferrari club event car. This is the most practical (did I really say practical?) and least expensive Ferrari race car available in today’s market. Can be licensed for road use in some states.
