We are pleased to offer a zero-time fully rebuilt 1962 Ferrari 3.0 liter 250 GTE engine tipo 128E
s/n 3855 with Numero Interno # 510/62 E plus a 1957 250 Boano tipo 508 reverse-shift 4-speed
all-syncro transmission # 133/D with the 7/32 gear ratios. The transmission was a 4 speed side
shifter that has been modified to a center shifter.

The engine has 0 hours and has never been fired since being put together. As part of the rebuild
the engine has been bored out to 73.5mm. It has new forged pistons made by Ross Racing Pistons
The crank is still standard and has been polished, cleaned and balanced. All new main and con rod
bearings and all new Ferrea valves were installed with new custom made valve guides and valve
seats. A new roller link timing chain was also installed and all the rocker arms bushings have been
replaced with needle bearings.

250 GTE engine tipo 128E s/n 3855 is complete from the top down and comes with the original
triple chrome plated air cleaners, with the triple edge hold-down screws, three rebuilt Weber
36 DCS carbs, intake manifolds, carb linkage, chromed fuel rail and both rebuilt distributors with
new distributor caps, ignition wires and plug wire tubes and 12 new plugs still in their box plus
the original Magneti Marelli coils.

Other externals such as the heat coated headers, rebuilt starter and generator, a re-surfaced
flywheel with a new clutch and pressure plate assembly, a rebuilt water pump, oil filler mount
with two new in-the-wrapper oil filter, the mechanical fuel pump and yellow wire-wrapped fuel
lines, coolant pipes, breather tubes, breather tub caps and the dipstick are all included. Also
included are new spare cam cover gaskets, a front timing case gasket and numerous other small
gaskets.
