We are pleased to offer 2018 Ginetta G58 s/n G58-001-18, the ultimate in a brand-new track-day or prototype class endurance racer. The Ginetta G58 offers staggering performance that rivals today‘s IMSA LMP2 cars at a fraction of the purchase price with the advantage of very low running costs. Thanks to a ready-to-race weight of just over 900 kgs (1,985 lbs); advanced aerodynamics and state-of-the-art suspension technology, backed up by a well-proven GM-based alloy-block 6.2 V8 putting out an under-stressed 575 hp; the G58 is one of the fastest track machines on the market, yet suited to all levels of driver experience and ambition. State of the art driver aids including air conditioning; Megaline electronic Paddle shifting; auto-throttle blip; electric power-assisted steering; track mapping; lap time readouts; a rear view camera; a multi-functional, quick release steering wheel; an adjustable steering column; adjustable brake bias; adjustable traction control; multi-setting ABS; a wiper and defroster for rain or night races; turn signals for pit-in or pit-out and two form-fitting seats, offering an opportunity to terrify your passengers, all inside the safety of the cockpit safety cell.

The GM-based 6.2 liter dry-sump engine alloy block is machined from a solid billet for maximum performance, endurance and strength; as the block is a stressed member; fitted with substantial engine and transmission cooling; making the G58 both very fast and reliable in both endurance events and hotter climates. The under-stressed 6.2 liter V8 is rated for an impressive 15,000 KM before rebuilds, keeping operating costs very low for years of racing. Power is put to the ground through a bullet-proof Xtrac 6-speed sequential transaxle with Megaline electronic paddle shift and auto-throttle blip for smooth up-and-down shifts. A Motec PDM power control (an electronic fusebox) plus a Motec M150 ECU (engine management unit) and a Motec C125 (color dashboard display with data logger) keep the electronic juices flowing. The exhaust system is fitted with efficient high-flow mufflers which keep sound levels down to a mere 98 db.

The body and chassis are both state-of-the-art, built around a Carbon fiber monocoque with an FIA approved steel roll cage, a carbon fiber crash structure, headrests and a large pedal box which will fit drivers up to 6′ 4″ tall. Stopping comes from Alcon Monoblock 6-pot calipers with 355mm vented discs. The suspension features double A-arms mounted to common front and rear uprights fitted with Ohlins TTX shocks. Aerodynamics and massive downforce are supplied by a rear diffuser; a vortex generator on the front splitter and a dual-element rear wing. Sacrificial skid blocks allow a minimal ride height. Forged aluminum Braid supplied 13″x 18″ rims are fitted with Michelin 30/65/18 front and Michelin 31/71/18 rear tires while a 105 litre FIA approved fuel cell keeps the engine running and six point FIA approved safety harnesses and an FIA approved fire extinguisher keeps the driver (and passenger) safe.
