Black on black with burgundy carpets. One owner for 19 years. Flairs and campagnolo
wheels car. 26,082 miles. Factory a/c, p/w, leather. Runs and drives well. Bumpers removed but new bumpers
are with the car. Great car, great price at $67,500, very firm.
S/n 6282. 246 GTS. USA model. A.C. and P.W. Originally standard wheels and no flairs. Now
has flairs and wider wheels. Standard seats.
1973-79, first owner, Paul Robinson, Kansas City, Missouri. 21,000 miles in 1978.
1979-80, second owner, Jim Kirken, Michigan. Still black/black, and now has wire
wheels fitted.
1980, offered by FAF, Tucker, GA. Now said to have 24,000 miles.
1980, third owner, a Mr. Johnson, Kansas City, MO. Repainted in 1980 in black Imron.
Bumpers removed and holes filled in. Sold back to FAF in less than a year with 6,500 more miles. 30,500.
1980, offered again by FAF.
1982-83, FOC roster listed by Marty Coulter, St. Louis, MO.
1981-99, owned by 4th owner, Marty Coulton, St. Louis, Missouri. Still black/black
standard seats. Has Campagnolo wheels again. Marty has two complete sets of bumpers that are with the car.
1999, 14 Sept., as per call from Marty Coulter, St. Louis, Missouri, he will sell both
of his 246 GTS Dinos as a “package“. He has this car, s/n 6282, and a yellow GTS s/n 5524. This car is
black with standard seats in black. A repaint in Imron. Has flairs and wider wheels but standard interior. Bumperettes
removed and bumpers filled in. No bumpers on the car. Apparently Johnson had a habit of removing the bumpers on every
car he owned. Marty does have two complete sets of bumpers that do go with the car. He wants to sell both of his Dino
Spyders. Both cars have been sitting in his garage/barn/shed for the last ten years. Batteries are long since dead.
Water and gas lines are rotten, etc… He wants to buy a new house, so… both are for sale.
1999, 15 Oct., as per call from Marty Coulter he has two new rear inner trunk tail light
cover panels (in plastic) and also two new inner front spare firewall covers that cover the wiring and the under dash
“stuff”. Also has two complete weatherstrip kits, one for each car. Also has a new clutch cable for the black
car and two new ANZA exhaust systems. Black car was repainted in Imron years ago. Has a spare set of XWXs for the yellow
that are new but probably dry rotted. Also has a complete set of 16 inch speedline wheels and brand new Pirelli tires
that he was going to use on the black Dino.
1999, 27 Nov., for sale in FML, half page ad, by M. Sheehan. Black on black with burgundy
carpets. One owner for 19 years. A “factory flairs and wheels” car. Factory a/c, p/w, leather. Runs and drives
